High-spirited islanders embrace the magic of Mardi Gras on Pensacola Beach, hosting a four-month long carnival season that culminates with a grand costume ball, fabulous parties and a parade recognized as one of the top ten events in the Southeast.
The Mystic Krewe of Nereids
The Mystic Krewe of Nereids, an all female krewe on Pensacola Beach. Award winning costumes, Grand Marshall’s award for float design, post parade dance performance. These mermaids are Beach Mardi Gras icons.
Krewe of Nauga
The krewe, which has no meetings, no parade and boasts a membership of 500 for one day – during the Krewe of Nauga Champagne Breakfast and Native Noontime Ball – is the easiest of all to join.

Hey Kids! A Mardi Gras krewe just for you! Open to fifth grade and younger, it’s a mini-masquerade that’s big on fun.
Krewe of Brewe
If it’s a party or a parade, the Krewe of Brewe is there! The co-ed krewe hosts multiple events, open to the public, rolls in 4 parades and supports all things fun!
